Insa-dong advertising hall
In order to enable domestic and overseas tourists to easily understand and experience the history and present pf Insa-dong by broadcasting the flavor of the cultural district of Insa-dong, the Insa-dong Advertising Hall was opened on October 28, 2006. The Insa-dong Advertising Hall, a Hanok building boasting of beautiful exterior, was built in the Sadonggung site which was the house of King Uichin, the son of Emperor Gojong of the Korean Empire.
In the Insa-dong Advertising Hall, English and Japanese interpreters introduce Insa-dong and the traditional culture of the ROK to domestic and foreign visitors and provide them with services and conveniences including interpretation and information for foreigners, distribution of maps (English, Chinese, and Japanese) and tourism advertising materials, traditional costume experience, wheelchair rental, and free Internet use.
Moreover, the digital storytelling information service is provided by keeping pace with the trend and by reflecting the characteristics of Insa-dong well, and a steady effort is made to develop the tourism contents enjoyable only in Insa-dong.
The Insa-dong Advertising Hall is operated by Insa Traditional Culture Preservation Association Corporation, and many regions banchmark it as the model case for preserving regional culture and for receiving foreign tourists.Available Service
