In 1979, Director Jang Ok-im of Okdang established the Institute of Oriental Embroidery, researched and developed the artistry and excellence of the classics through oriental embroidery education and art activities, and grafted them into the modern world. On the other hand, we are trying to inform the value of Korean traditional culture and arts to domestic and foreign visitors.
